Edward Sielicki was born in 1956 in Warsaw. Studied composition at the Music Academy in Warsaw (1975-1980) with A. Dobrowolski and W. Kotoński. In 1984 he continued his studies with T. de Leeuw at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam  

Prize-winner at numerous competitions

  Author of more than 140 compositions performed by many orchestras, chamber ensembles and soloists in many countries including Poland, France, Belgium, Italy, Holland, Germany, Finland, Great Britain, Mexico, USA, Russia, Canada.

 Lecturer and later professor at the Frederic Chopin Music University in Warsaw since 1987. Co-founder of the Electronic and Computer Music Studio and Iter-University Multimedia Program

In 2001, 2003, 2005-6, 2010, 2013 and 2016-18 visiting professor of composition at Keimyung University in Daegu (South Korea). He also took a masterclass in St. Petersburg Conservatory and Academy of Arts in Istambul.
